This guide explains how to modify your nominations using the Cere Staking Dashboard.

Reasons for Modifying Nominations

On Cere, being a nominator requires consistent monitoring of the validators you've selected, as their performance directly affects your returns. If your chosen validators aren't doing their job correctly, you risk losing a portion of your staked tokens. Therefore, it's recommended to regularly review and adjust your validator selections. Reasons for changes could include suboptimal validator performance, oversubscription of a validator, or finding new, more promising validators.

Removing a Validator

To remove one or multiple validators from your nominations:

  1. Visit the Staking Dashboard and go to the Nominate tab.

Under "Nominations," press "Select" to show checkboxes next to validator names.

  2. Pick the validator(s) you want to remove and click "Stop Nominating Selected".

  3. Check the estimated transaction fee, click "Submit" to sign the transaction, and finalize the change.

Adding a Validator

To add one or more validators to your nominations:

  1. From the Validators tab, add the desired validators to your Favorites tab by clicking the heart icon next to a validator's name.
  2. Go back to the Nominate tab, click "Add From Favorites", and select the validators you want to nominate.
  3. Review the transaction fees and click "Submit" to complete the addition.

After these steps, your new validators should appear in the nominations section.
